Look at this document [1] â€“ it seems perfectly valid to me.  However, I just found that html5.validator.nu does not seem to parse the â€œlegacyâ€ character encoding notation (I do not actually consider it â€œlegacyâ€ [2, 3]) correctly any more. [4]  It says â€œError: Unsupported character encoding name: text/. Will continue sniffing.â€ and â€œError: Internal encoding declaration named an unsupported chararacter encoding text/.â€
