Description Pavel Dvořák 2014-08-26 23:35:19 CEST
I added version to the meta extensions wiki. Could you add them into the validator please?
Comment 1 Pavel Dvořák 2014-08-26 23:38:05 CEST
For sure: meta extension is called "version"
Example: <meta name="version" content="0.1.0+1">

In the spec is also "page-version". It is synonymum for "version", but it is deprecated, so you could omit it.

New meta@name values added to the wiki automatically get supported in validator instances as soon as they're redeployed (restarted). So you don't need to raise bug report for this -- there's no code change we need to make.

But FYI I have restarted the W3C validator backends, so your addition is now supported in http://validator.w3.org/nu/ and the W3C validator. Support will get exposed in http://html5.validator.nu and http://validator.nu the next time those are redeployed.

On the meta extensions wiki, there is written, that I should fill in a bug. It should be changed.
Thank you for your fast response
