<ul><li><a><li></ul> only says "Error: Unclosed elements inside a list.", should also emit messages for which unclosed elements.

Thanks for catching this. Wrote up a (one-line) patch for it already:

…and pushed that to http://www.w3.org/html/check for testing.

Please check there and let me know if you find any cases where it does not work as expected.
